A one-man operation that grew into a two-person team. Still local. Still doing everything ourselves.
I'm Mark. I got into plumbing after leaving school and training with my uncle's firm in Croydon — he'd been doing it for 30 years and still is. After a few years working for other companies around London, I went out on my own in 2014.
It started in Wimbledon and Putney because that's where I lived and knew people. Word spread. I took on a second engineer — Jamie — in 2019 and that's the team. We're not looking to become a large operation. We're looking to do good work and keep our reputation.
Between the two of us we've done everything from 3am emergency callouts for burst pipes to full bathroom refits in Victorian terraces where the original pipes date back to the 1960s. This area has its quirks and we know them well.
One thing I care about: I will not start a job I can't finish properly and I will not quote you one price and charge another. That's about it really.

We give you a full quote before starting. If something unexpected comes up mid-job that changes the cost, we stop and tell you — we don't spring it on you at the end. You decide whether to continue.
If a repair will hold, we won't push you towards a full replacement. If a part is fine, we won't change it for the sake of billing more time. We'll tell you honestly what the situation is.
Sheets down before we start, everything cleaned up when we leave. We know it's your home. Some of the jobs are messy — that's unavoidable — but we take care of it ourselves and don't leave you with the clearing up.
